    Repairs are underway, but when will they be complete?

    The 86th Street and Bay Parkway D Train repairs have been ongoing for some time. As the work looks far from finished, residents are feeling frustrated that the busy intersection has become even more difficult to navigate.

    “I hate it. It’s ugly and I have to push through people just to walk on the sidewalk. It’s dangerous,” said Eugene Akanov, a Bensonhurst resident who commutes to and from work from the 86th Street station.

    Tell us, has the repair work inconvenienced you, or is this a means to and end for better D Train access?

      definitely inconvenient, the D train is barely running half the time, and you have to maneuver around all the tape. And it smells so bad at the station I have to hold my breath until I walk upstairs to the platform all the time, otherwise I feel like I will throw up. They need to clean up and finish soon
