    Kamal’s Style Hair Salon at 482A Kings Highway is closing down. The salon happens to be directly next door to Yes Cleaners, which also recently closed.

    Readers, what do you think? Is this a case of a particular landlord upping the rent or just another sign of the times?

      Salon like this really does create a lot of story .

      Today its hard to keep a business up & running with landlords raising rents so high business owners can’t afford to stay open. If they do stay open price on products has to be raised people can’t afford to pay the high prices. Its getting differcult to live in New York period.

        Some of the small businesses that remain open is because they own the building.
