A local bar and sports lounge is on the market. The name or location is being withheld by the seller, but the information provided does pique our curiosity.

The seller is not a broker and there’s no fee. The asking price is $60,000.

It’s got a full liquor license, semi-full kitchen, games, jukebox and an A grade from the Department of Health. Advertised are a lot of new amenities as well.

The income from the bar is said to be $268,800.

Anyone know what this place is and more importantly, who wants to buy it so we can throw parties there?

    UPDATE (1:20 p.m.):

A crafty reader has identified the bar as Montage Lounge at 8004 20th Avenue.

I don’t get how someone can offer up a business for sale for what amounts to just about %40 of the yearly gross. What kind of debt is going to come along WITH the business?
