    The juxtaposition of the name “Chuck Taylor” near the old school Italian hand gesture is confounding. What, if anything, could this piece of street art mean?

    Chuck Taylor is the famous Converse salesman and the hand gesture roughly translates to, “What are you talking about?” or the cruder version, “What the f#$%.”

    So, what is this graffiti talking about?

      The hand gesture is a common trend in teenagers. I have experienced this in high school (I am 20 years old). Someone is supposed to do the gesture down low and if the other person looks at it then he is supposed to get smacked.
