In Focus: 19th Avenue Goes To The Dogs

If you’re walking your dog and not picking up their poop, you and your pooch may end up on our news blog. The picture above was submitted by a frustrated resident after having had enough of the poop she sees all throughout her neighborhood.

“This lady like many people in Bensonhurst didn’t clean after her dog. Lots of poop every day on 19th Avenue,” writes Carmen Tamacas.

Now, Bensonhurstians, how about we pitch in, clean up after our four-legged friends and keep our streets free of that nasty stuff?

    I live on 17th ave, i walk around with plenty of extra poop bags in my hand, when my dog poops on the stree (not sidewalk) i still pick it up and yet i get stares from people. I see a lot of this in my area as well. People are pigs if sanitation is not going around giving tickets, nothing is going to change.
    The dog and person in the pic just seem to be standing around he’s not in the middle of the act. Can’t blame the dog. just the ignorant owners.
