Damn. My son’s team has a college baseball game at MCU at noon. Traffic and access to the stadium is going to be a nightmare.

Follow up: except for the fact that they decided to open the MCU parking lot for paid parking yesterday (they were charging $18 to park when it’s usually free for college games), the Sanders event had almost no impact on the area. I drove straight through empty streets to the ballpark around 11:45. The parking lot was nearly empty. Street parking was easily available. Even when I stretched my legs between games by walking over to Stillwell, the streets were quiet. Even Nathan’s had no lines. I had heard there were long lines waiting for Bernie, but I never saw them, or any sign that they were about.

Did BEAN cover this event? The last time a candidate for Pres went to Nathan’s was in 1972, his name was George McGovern.

Yes we did! Report will go up first thing tomorrow!
