Gravesend residents have a new place to purchase second-hand items at a bargain price. Attic Explosion at 305 Avenue X and West 2nd Street is a multi-family pop-up yard sale that has everything from bulk items to toys, even a wedding dress.
The outdoor store will be open most weekends, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“We do it in between rolling meatballs,” said one of the founders, Rhonda Terrenova jokingly.
The space belongs to another founder Roseanne Mara, who owns the nursery where the the yard sale is held.
“It’s going well,” said Roseanne. “We’re having fun.”

Following up on a tip from reader Neil, we ventured down to the corner of 65th Street and Bay Parkway this afternoon in order to get a glimpse of Pizza Daddy, which is now open for business.
An employee assured us that, while they won’t be getting menus until next week, they are currently delivering.
