What: What you need to know: A special program presented by NYU Langone Medical Center. Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias family support program. Panelists: Dr. Mary Mittelman, Director, Dr. Joshua Chodosh, Co-Director & Cynthia Epstein, LCSW, Clinical Supervisor. Topics to be discussed: When is forgetting a problem? Community Education Council District 21 December meeting and pre-k and kindergarten enrollment workshop

High School Equivalency (HSE) Preparation
When: Thursday, December 15 at 5 p.m.
Where: Coney Island Library at 1901 Mermaid Avenue
What: Free pre-hse (formerly “Pre-GED” classes) for adults 17 and older. Begin your HSE preparation at Brooklyn Public Library. Practice reading, writing and math skills critical for HSE success. Individuals should plan on staying three hours for testing and enrollment. Please bring a pen. High school discharge papers are required for 17 year olds. Program may request proof of age.
